This presentation will present a data-driven review of upstream O&G across West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. It will cover commodity pricing, drilling rig activity, year-end production volumes, and material acquisitions within the basin.

Dave Boyer is the founder and principal consultant with Mudrock Energy, LLC, an energy consultancy located outside Pittsburgh, PA. Mudrock provides geoscience and data analyses, operational support, and market research. It develops analytical solutions using geologic, geospatial, and data science tools with industry knowledge. Before Mudrock, Dave has worked with E&P companies within the Appalachian Basin over the past 16 years. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Geology for Arsenal Resources, managing the Geology and GIS departments.

Dave graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Geology. He is a member of several industry organizations including, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Pittsburgh Association of Petroleum Geologists (PAPG), the Appalachian Geological Society (AGS), and the Ohio Geological Society (OGS). Registered by the AAPG, Dave is a Certified Petroleum Geologist (CPG).
