February 2023 Dinner Meeting at Table 9 Students from the WVU Land Management program conducted a panel titled " Future Leaders Perspective on Energy" and Stefanie Hines,, Teaching Assistant Professor at WVU presented " Why Ethical People Make Unethical Choices." Event was held at Table 9 in Morgantown, WV.
2022 November Dinner Meeting A great time was had by all at "The O" in Bridgeport. Claire Walls gave a great presentation on Title Issues West Virginia Tax Sales.
2021 Veterans Charity Clay Shoot Approximately 80 gathered on a beautiful day at the Hunting Hills Shooting Preserve in Dilliner, PA. The MLBC donated $14,000 to the WVU Law Clinic! George Moore walked away with the Top Gun Trophy with a score of 87!

MLBC 60th Anniversary Celebration Members gathered along the North Shore at Jerome Bettis' Grille 36 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the organization. Gorgeous views, great food and Justin Trawick and The Common Good kept the crowd entertained all evening!
2018 Spring Social at the Tropics A good time was had by all at the MLBC Spring Social. The Black Dog Hollow band provided great entertainment and our silent auction raised $5000.00 for our scholarship foundation! Thank you to all who attended
July Dinner Meeting- Point Park University - Lawrence Hall President of the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, William P. "Pat" Getty, will speak to attendees at the dinner meeting. Hosting our July meeting in Lawrence Hall at Point Park University holds special significance to the MLBC. Lawrence Hall (formerly the Sherwyn Hotel) is the site of the first MLBC meeting organized by Joseph W. Findley of the Benedum- Trees Oil Company.
June 2017 Dinner Meeting We presented student scholarships, MLBC awards and inducted the 2017-2018 MLBC officers. This year we also added a silent auction and basket raffle with all proceeds benefiting the student scholarship fund!

2016 Spring Charity Golf Event The MLBC and friends raised $22,000.00, splitting funds between WVU Children's Hospital and Pittsburgh Children's Hospital.
Where It All Began Gala - Oil & Gas Museum Fundraiser The MLBC was pleased to sponsor such a fun event that raised $22,000 for the Oil & Gas Museum located in Parkersburg, WV. Thank you to all those who sponsored and came out to show your support!
Nemacolin Charity Day Events 2012 - September 14 This years trip to Nemacolin was full of activity. In addition to golf, the MLBC organized a trip to Fallingwaters and a Clay Shooting event. $30,000 was raised to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Pittsburgh area.
June 2012-Bridgeport Conference Center The MLBC inducted new officers for the 2012-2013 term. Congratulations to our newly elected officers!
Glenville State College represented by Denny Pounds and Milan Vavrek was presented with a $3,500 check to support scholarships for the Land Manangement Program. Maranda Frame, a scholarship receipient was present.
March 2012 1/2 Day Seminar & Dinner in Morgantown WV The MLBC hosted a 1/2 day seminar at the Waterfront Hotel in Morgantown WV with speakers:
Dr. Dolin-Bane with WVU discussing non-verbal communication; Arnie Schulberg reported on AAPL updates; Jeremy Preston presented the new design of the MLBC website; Craig Young past president of the AAPL who spoke on Professionalism in the oil and gas industry. The seminar was immediately followed with a social hour with cocktails and hors d'ourves. Robert J. Andre III from Steptoe and Johnson also spoke to the MLBC members on Ethics.
February 2012 MLBC/NALA dinner meeting MLBC & NALA hosted a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres hour before the dinner meeting where Lisa Bruderly of Babst Calland Attorneys at Law discussed the changing West Virginia laws and regulations. This event took place immediately following the Basics to Oil & Gas Operations seminar at the Chadwick, in Wexford PA on February 9, 2012.
February 2012 Joint Seminar with NALA featuring Matt Vavro The MLBC and NALA were proud to host Matt Vavro's "Basics of Oil & Gas Operations" Seminar. AAPL's Membership and Business Development Manager, Brent Schreiber was also in attendance to answer any questions about AAPL and register new members. This all day event took place at the Chadwick in Wexford, PA on Thursday, February 9th.
