Hosting our July meeting in Lawrence Hall at Point Park University holds special significance to the MLBC. Lawrence Hall (formerly the Sherwyn Hotel) is the site of the first MLBC meeting organized by Joseph W. Findley of the Benedum- Trees Oil Company. (44 photos)

This years trip to Nemacolin was full of activity. In addition to golf, the MLBC organized a trip to Fallingwaters and a Clay Shooting event. $30,000 was raised to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Pittsburgh area. (106 photos)

The MLBC hosted a 1/2 day seminar at the Waterfront Hotel in Morgantown WV with speakers:
Dr. Dolin-Bane with WVU discussing non-verbal communication; Arnie Schulberg reported on AAPL updates; Jeremy Preston presented the new design of the MLBC website; Craig Young past president of the AAPL who spoke on Professionalism in the oil and gas industry. The seminar was immediately followed with a social hour with cocktails and hors d'ourves. Robert J. Andre III from Steptoe and Johnson also spoke to the MLBC members on Ethics. (54 photos)
MLBC & NALA hosted a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres hour before the dinner meeting where Lisa Bruderly of Babst Calland Attorneys at Law discussed the changing West Virginia laws and regulations.
